The Summer Programs Roundtable

The Summer Programs Roundtable was the origin of a deep collaboration among residential summer programs, specifically those which focus on mathematics enrichment for middle school and high school students. Participants include the leaders of established programs (such as those supported by the AMS Epsilon Fund) as well as those actively developing new programs. All programs are non-profit or university affiliated.

The directors of these programs have met periodically for conferences over the years, beginning at AIM in 2013, and continuing at the Simons Center in 2019 and 2022.

In 2023, the programs formalized their collaboration and created the Summer Mathematics Program Consortium.

What began as the Roundtable is now the annual conference of the Consortium, which has taken place every year since 2023. (Learn more here.) The next annual conference will take place in fall 2026.

If you have questions, contact the Consortium.
