The Summer Programs Roundtable was the beginning of a deep collaboration among residential summer programs, specifically those which focus on mathematics enrichment for middle school and high school students. Participants include the leaders of established programs (such as those supported by the AMS Epsilon Fund) as well as those actively developing new programs. All programs are non-profit or university affiliated.
The directors of these programs meet periodically for conferences, beginning at AIM in 2013, and continuing at the Simons Center in 2019 and 2022.
In 2023, the programs formalized their collaboration and created the Summer Mathematics Program Consortium.
The most recent conference took place October 12–15, 2023 at Boston University, and was the first annual conference of the Consortium. The next meeting will take place in fall 2024. Learn more at the Consortium website.
